Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using FriendZone, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our app.

Description of Service

FriendZone is a location-sharing application that allows you to:

• Share your location with friends at designated zones
• Create and join location-based zones
• Receive notifications when friends arrive at shared zones
• Control your privacy and location sharing preferences

User Accounts

Account Creation

• You must provide accurate information
• You must be at least 13 years old (app rated 16+ on App Store)
• One account per person
• You're responsible for maintaining account security
• Users under 16 should have parental guidance

Phone Number Verification

• A valid phone number is required
• Phone numbers must be verified
• You may not use someone else's phone number

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Impersonate others
• Harass or stalk other users
• Share false location information
• Violate others' privacy
• Use the app for illegal purposes
• Attempt to hack or compromise the app
• Create multiple accounts
• Share your account credentials

Location Sharing

Your Responsibilities

• Only share locations you're comfortable sharing
• Understand that friends can see your location at shared zones
• Review your zone memberships regularly
• Remove friends or leave zones if desired

Our Responsibilities

• Only share your location with approved friends
• Only share when you're at designated zones (if set to "Current Zone Only")
• Provide controls to manage your privacy
• Delete old location data automatically

Zones

Creating Zones

• You may create zones at locations you have the right to designate
• Do not create zones at private property without permission
• Zone names must be appropriate and non-offensive

Zone Membership

• Zone creators can manage members
• Members can leave zones at any time
• Inappropriate zones may be removed

Privacy and Data

• Your data is governed by our Privacy Policy
• We collect and use data as described in the Privacy Policy
• You can delete your account and data at any time

Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate accounts for violations
• Remove inappropriate content
• Modify or discontinue the service

You may:

• Delete your account at any time
• Stop using the service at any time

Disclaimers

Location Accuracy

• Location data may not always be accurate
• GPS can be affected by various factors
• We're not responsible for location inaccuracies

Service Availability

• The app is provided "as is"
• We don't guarantee uninterrupted service
• Features may change or be discontinued

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages
• Our liability is limited to the amount you paid (if any)
• We're not responsible for user-generated content

Safety and Responsibility

Your Safety

• Use common sense when sharing location
• Don't share with people you don't trust
• Be aware of your surroundings
• Report suspicious activity

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Massachusetts.

Dispute Resolution

• Disputes should first be resolved through contact with us
